Fucking word UP.
Fucking word UP.
Eh, I wouldn't blame Pitchfork. I imagine Phipps left of his own accord and got it cooked up somehow then came calling after his old friends to get the gang back together.
Then again, maybe it was like Mad Men and TVDW is British.
Yeah, for sure. I don't remember completely, but wasn't there a Packer episode towards the end of Scott where he finally calls him out?
I'm no huge fan of the place, but you could seriously do a lot, lot worse than a Subway sandwich.
800 here. Have one roommate in Brooklyn.
I thought it looked kind of silly and too "this is an epic fantasy" for my tastes. I like the more plausible and understated one of the show better. It seems like it fits with the story better, almost especially the part about it not actually containing as many swords as the legends claim.
They said it wasn't going to launch at midnight on their Twitter but, rather, at some point this morning. Last night, though, Phipps commented on Twitter that "there's the 11th hr emergency. Right on time." Their tumblr also says it's coming soon. I imagine it'll launch around 12:00pm CT.
I don't believe it was. I was waiting for it to be revealed to be Anne's father but then nope.
" I once worked the same shift as this one girl at a food court for like 2 months before I realized I worked with her."
It's out of nowhere, and I don't mind it in the season, per se, but it colors her previous appearance/role in the show in a way I don't like.
Does he say her by name?
Yeah, but doesn't he flat out say "Never met her?" AD is usually good about that stuff.
I feel like the only person who didn't find "two people saying 'same' a lot" funny.
So good.
@Thats_Unpossible:disqus Well, I agree and disagree. I think the more the series went on, they did blur that line (and made Michael more cartoonish as a result), but I still think the US show is better about presenting Michael more as a human being (again, at least in the beginning of the show), but the UK does have…
I have the first and last of those. I'm thinking about Godzilla too. That packaging is awesome.
@avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus I don't really mind. I was just being overwhelmed. I'm one of the few people who didn't understand what the big deal with the other Cookie dude was.
But weren't they going to answer what the smoke monster was?
Perhaps, but I feel like that would make him more of a casting target for it (whether he'd ultimately take it or not).
Benedict Cumberbatch will be Shere Khan.
