That's a bummer about Tender, I love that song.  But I think it also helps that I never got into Blur until after they broke up, so I never was around when things initially got played/overplayed.  So I never learned to hate Tender, I found it in like 2005 and thought, holy hell, this song is great.

Agreed.  It's a shame "Lessons Learned from Rocky I to Rocky III" didn't blow up bigger.  I'm not sure why it didn't.

I'm a huge Blur fan, but weirdly, I don't like their early stuff hardly at all.  There are a few songs that I think are great (it's pretty hard to deny The Universal), but they didn't get really interesting to me until their self-titled album.  Then 13 knocked it out of the park, and even Think Tank is quite good.

Cornershop got a bad rap because "Brimful of Asha" was everywhere right when Fatboy Slim blew up.  It was catchy as hell but seemingly designed to be completely obnoxious and grating as soon as its fifteen minutes were up.  Which is a shame, because the rest of that album (produced mostly by the Automator when he was

Ladykillers is the only song I think I've ever heard from Lush, but it's completely great and amazing.  I'm actually perfectly happy never hearing anything else from them, because there's no way it's as good as that song.

Oh! Neal!

Whammy!

Almost!

Oh.  So THAT'S where Del got the name from…

She just hangs out and smokes TONS of pot.

Card: PULLED.

"Can't Stand Me Now" is a solid, solid choice.

They took "NYC Cops" off the album because it came out a couple weeks after 9/11, and it probably wasn't the best idea to have a song that has the chorus "NYC cops, they ain't too smart" in light of those recent events.

"Fell In Love With A Girl" rocks socks.

Only gnarly ones.

I guess.  I never think of Bill as lonely, though, he's got Sam & Neil!

I never thought of that scene as particularly heartbreaking.  Bill was having a great time; he was happy doing exactly that.  I can't feel pity for someone that is clearly at home being themselves and taking enjoyment from it like that.

NBC doesn't see what the big deal is, sweat pants are comfortable.  NBC should be able to wear them out if they feel like it.

How does that explain the fact that they owned comedies all throughout the 90s then?
