I always loved the show, but "The Terrible Tunnel" really was disturbing. Sir Blunderbrain never got out! And then when Wembley stumbles upon the tunnel, I kept expecting him to find Sir Blunderbrain and rescue him, but there's no sign of him. Spooky.

I think that line of dialogue by Doc was only on the version of the theme song that came on the Fraggle Rock record. It's longer than the TV version, and it also includes a section with Junior Gorg singing and scatting.

@avclub-ce7da3812ed2a993e2194cd75e94b18b:disqus The Poobah meeting scene is one of the best things ever on the series ("Fritz!"). I sort of wonder why Jim couldn't have just been playing a random Poobah in that episode, but it's nice that making it Convincing John gives him one more appearance.

I was really eager to see Cracking Up as part of a Lewis film festival a few years ago, and then it turned out to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Which was fine with me, because it was fascinating in its own way, but "a clearinghouse of left-over Lewis slapstick routines" is a perfect way to describe it. It

When did you last see The Family Jewels? I loved that one as a pre-teen, but when I watch it now I realize that there aren't any jokes. It's all just funny costumes and funny voices. Although I do still laugh at the part where they watch a movie on the plane, and the actors and props slide around with the plane's

Being Elmo made you dislike Clash?  I'd be very interested to hear more about that. Everyone I've talked to about it tends to either say it gave them new respect for puppeteers, or they used to hate Elmo, but after seeing the movie they can't help but like him.

About as much as Chris Cooper, I reckon.

Odd observation from having watched a bunch of Cosby Show when it was on Netflix: The Huxtables drink a lot of apple juice.

Another thing the show often dealt with in an interesting way was gender. There was Elvin, who had all the wrong ideas about gender equality for no other apparent reason than he was kind of dumb. Then on the other hand, you have Kenny in the later seasons spouting off the sexist stuff he learned from his older

Who was the best dancer? I always thought Vanessa had some pretty dope moves.

I LOVED the episode with Bill Irwin when I was a kid. It's the first place I ever saw the "bending your knees while walking to make it look like you're going down stairs" trick.
