Bruno, actually. Sully was the silent construction worker who worked with the loud-mouthed Biff.

I liked the fact that the whole gang spent the bulk of the episode in Barney's apartment rather than Ted's.  It was a nice change of scenery.

The prospect of Barney/Robin all over again bores me, even though I knew it would probably happen.  What's different about them this time?  What's to stop them from getting all old and fat again? I hope Lily has Alan Thicke's number on speed dial.

What percentage of Kristina's screen time over the course of the series do you suppose she's spent crying?  It seems like she's the weepiest of all Bravermans.

Beaker and "Pigs in Space" both show up for the first time in the second season. So, yeah.

I would argue that the Alice Cooper episode of The Muppet Show was scarier.  The backstage plot is about Cooper trying to get the Muppets to sell their souls to the devil!

I was terrified by that sketch as well.  I think part of it for me was the fact that Bert didn't believe him, so Ernie was all alone with his fear.

I was afraid to sign up for Facebook for years because that evil face in a book was the first image I thought of when I heard the name.

So Garfield basically killed his owner in that past life, huh?

Yeah, I've always thought "Garfield minus thought bubbles" was funnier.  With "Garfield Minus Garfield," you pretty much get the gag after just a few strips.

Also a fun detail, though probably accidental: Weird Al really did do a concert in NYC the day before this episode aired.

He hasn't played his "Muppet Show" franchise characters since Muppets From Space in 1999, but he still shows up on Sesame Street every once in a while. It's Oz as Grover in this sketch from the new season:

That's what I was thinking too.  I was willing to accept the whole "Maggie-wants-to-meet-Kennedy" story, but the fact that the Secret Service guy took that box of cigars from her and placed it directly in the president's hands without inspecting it made me raise an eyebrow.

Will Jackie Chan reprise his role as Jackie Chan?

It has to go to Joel, for doing a good job when actually given more than one paragraph of dialogue for once.  Drew would be a contender, but his smoothie make-out was reward enough.

That's pretty much how I feel at this point.  I think I'd be happy if they announced that the movie isn't coming out after all… It's been so much fun anticipating it.

Really?  I always thought "When Love Is Gone" brought the movie to a screeching halt.  I mean, it's a Muppet movie, and you're going to do a four-minute sad love ballad with no Muppets on screen?

I would just like to say that I love that avatar of Harry the Hipster from Sam & Friends.  That is all.

I knew Adam's hip-hop outfit slow-motion-walking sequence was stupid, but I laughed anyway.

I loved the unexplained hair.
