I kept waiting for them to pay off the fact that Marisa doesn't own a TV even though she gets Soap Opera Digest… and then they never. What's up with that?

Bruce Forsyth?
That was my reaction too, Buddy. I wouldn't have minded as much if they hadn't relied on the same schtick for nearly every sketch. Betty White has much more range than that.
I wish I could yell at the moon with Buzz Aldrin.
How old is Haley supposed to be? I was halfway surprised she didn't just go with it and make Alex promise not to tell anyone.
Another Green Acres backdoor
This was a terrific Inventory. I want to see all of these episodes.
A troupe of agents?
What's the difference between this and Improv Everywhere?
Bud & Lou & Kenan & Kel
The Kenan & Kel show on Nickelodeon was obviously greatly influenced by this show, right down to the standing-in-front-of-a-curtain intros and outros. Did they ever acknowledge that?
For Them What Like the Muppets
There's a geeky fan-made Muppet character tournament that's going on right now to parallel the NCAA's March Madness.
Great Muppet Caper is my favorite. It has an Esther Williams-style musical number starring a pig!
Barney
You know, if I heard about somebody in real life trying to go for a "perfect week" like Barney's I would think they were a pretty terrible person. And yet, I found myself rooting for Barney to go seven-for-seven. That's the magic of television, I guess.
I think my favorite part of the episode was the exchange to determine who was their dumbest kid.
The musical number reminded me a bit of NPH's song on Sesame Street a while back when he played the Shoe Fairy… only instead of magically giving people shoes he was magically giving them suits.
NO FLIMFLAMS!
Txt msgs
I rented this for a Bad Movie night as soon as it came out on DVD. I remember thinking that if nothing else, it would go down in history as the earliest film in which the entire plot revolves around texting.
I seem to recall reading that Hannigan specifically requested not to sing much in the Buffy musical, which is why she only sang two lines in the entire show. So she would probably make the same request if this show did a musical.
I took off the intellectuals, I put on There May Be Giants.
"Eight Hundred and Thirteen Mile Car Trip" is now one of my favorite TMBG songs. It rocks.
Milkman, I was just going to mention the "What the hell is wrong with you?" line. It's a really perfect delivery from Maura Tierney. I've been rewatching the whole series, and I've gained a new appreciation for just how damn funny she is.
Yep, especially considering he's only 54.
