@avclub-ab60729bcbd8293eb5f31e5077c29049:disqus I assumed that just meant that he took them out of his locker and smeared blood on them to make a better story (that he was so in love with Captain America that he carried the cards absolutely everywhere).

It's a hockey team anyway.

I've been to Schenectady (with it's million or whatever you say people) and I've been to towns in the arctic with less than 500 people and let me tell you Schenectady is a hole and that has nothing to do with the number of people who live there.

It is pretty awesome.  I was apprehensive because the reviews were almost all 10/10 and I thought my expectations would be too high going in (sort of like with GTA4), but so far so good in my opinion.

There are certainly worse things to do when chained up in a basement.

I saw somebody with a name tag a few days ago that said 'Witness'.

This sounds like when you attend a really technical meeting at work and have no idea what all the letters are for.

Everything about this puts me on her side, except for when she mentions this.  That makes her look crazy.  "Oh, yeah, you disagree with something I did during our business arrangement?  Well, how can you even say that when you don't devote any time to getting rid of Russia's anti-gay laws?"

"-ps out of the coffee filter." is what I assume you were going to write.  And yeah, that is a scary thought.

@Scrawler2:disqus oh, that makes sense now.  How does something like that break?  Shouldn't it sort of just be set in the code and not altered once it's working?  That's messed up.

But as of right now it has no likes.  Weird, well I'm not going to screw up this trend.

Yeah, he really needs to step up his game in the evil-characters department.  Everything's a bit too lovey-dovey in those books.

@avclub-0f2aab038be93ff407d92af691001e73:disqus fuck that, even if you did have an ipad, I'd be pissed about being forced to use personal devices for my job.  They can fucking buy (or at least reimburse you) what's needed to teach the class themselves.

I needed Joss Whedon looking over my shoulder when I was writing my thesis.  And now when I'm writing papers.  Scientific reviewers love a good quip.

Space Gods?  They came from the ground, that's like the opposite of space gods.

There was a time in my youth when the only movies of her's that I'd seen were Jurassic Park: Lost World, Nine Months, and some movie I think called Assassins.  This naive little kid that I was couldn't believe that we may get to see her naked in something at some point.  What a world that kid was going to discover.

In fact, it is the very first thing introduced in Star Wars.  The first thing you see is a rebel ship, the second sentence of the opening crawl starts with the word 'Rebel' (the first sentence mentions a civil war which is hard without rebels), and the title of the movie (eventually) was "A New Hope" aka, the

He volunteered.  Plus it was the fastest ship in the fleet and he needed all the help he could get.

There'll be all this foreshadowing about things flying over his head and him losing track of them.  This will of course cause his asthma to act up.

Yeah, how can a plot be so childish and confusing at the same time?
