@nummymuffincookoobutter:disqus that seems to be how it goes.  The crazy thing is, they could come up with more sane, somewhat plausible things, but they always immediately go to the top shelf and lose anyone with any critical thinking skills.  When I was younger and more naive I went to some of these sites and

Same sort of thing with HAARP conspiracy theories concerning earthquakes and tornadoes.  The HAARP radar is actually probably going to be shut down due to funding issues and I've talked to people who work with it and they joke that they'd love to hand the keys over to the conspiracy crowd and let them have at it

If those stupid monkeys hadn't decided to stand up to see predators over the tall grasses hundreds of thousands of years ago, none of this would have happened.

And now I'm researching MTV awards on Wikipedia, cause that's what I've become I guess.  Anyways, a glance at the best movie winners from 1992-now suggests that kids are definitely getting a lot dumber.  Before 2005, movies like A Few Good Men, Pulp Fiction, T2, Titanic, Gladiator, and all the LOTRs won.  Now opinions

But come on, the character won an MTV movie award.  That's gotta count for something right?  I mean if you can't trust an awards program that had the Twilight movies win best picture 4 years in a row, then who can you trust?

The point is they told people they were selling them all the episodes of season 5 for a certain price.  When it comes time to download the second set of season 5 episodes, they charge people again.  The fact that the initial price was essentially half what all the episodes would have cost separately is not the

You're only talking about the movie franchise right?  The actual ride is ok still?  You scared me there for a minute.

Just because it's still cheaper than other things doesn't mean that you can sell somebody something and then only provide half of what was promised.

I don't remember exactly, but when I bought it, I think it said "all episodes of Breaking Bad Season 5" or something fairly clear like that.  To be fair, I knew 100% at the time that I'd have to buy season 5.2 separately, so I wasn't fooled because I guess I'm pretty cynical.  I still think it's a bit of a dick move.

I think my problems go deeper than that.

No shit.  December is LOTR and/or James Bond time.  Early summer is Star Wars time.  Jesus, you'd think these movie execs have never been teenager me.

Holy crap did I just read a lot about something I care nothing about.  What the hell is wrong with me?

I actually completely approve of replacing the description 'pirate shirt' with 'Seinfeld-style puffy shirt'.  It's funny how all those naval war movies referenced Seinfeld.

The Seinfeld episode of Curb got an A+ also.  It seems weird that you'd allow A+ in your menu, but not allow reviewers to give them.  Why have them in the drop down menu at all?

I guess what I'm asking is, was there a somewhat organized movement of people that called themselves browncoats during the show's run?  I understand that there was a committed fanbase while it was on, but I think the name is what I'm getting hung up on.  I guess, this is really a silly issue to be concerned about.

Dr. Strangelove.

Were there really browncoats out there when Firefly was cancelled?  I figured that was more of a reaction to the cancelling than something that sprung up during the few weeks the show was actually on the air.

This is why I'm ok with them making shitty sequels to great 80s movies  (Terminator, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Die Hard, etc.) till the cows come home.  It prevents crappy remakes from being made.

Well, you'd know the comments would be all about Breaking Bad, so there's that.

One silver lining is that as long as they keep churning out sequels, nobody's going to be making shitty remakes of T1 and T2 with Colin Farrell as the terminator and Shia Labeef as John Conner.
