Glaring omission: Ads for the SHAKE-WEIGHT!

Oh sorry, you're right. I misread that sentence. Feel free to delete my comment to avoid further spoilage.

Hate to be "that guy," but…
Peggy didn't say the "beginnings of things" line, that was Faye, after being told by Don that he was leaving her for another woman.

Definitely "Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants." Other than the many reasons stated above, it was one of the first instances of anybody cutting through the "they hate us for our freedom" bullshit on television, and they actually tried to approach it from an average Arab's point of view, in addition to South Park's

RIP TERRIERS
I have to give John Landgraf credit; he does seem to care genuinely about this show. And though I disagree with a couple of his points, he had legitimate reason to cancel the show, despite the fact that it was, in my mind, the best new drama of the season. I've been trying my best to pimp the show out

Not too sure about The Aviator.
It fell into all of the traps of your standard biopic. Elegant camerawork and editing can't save you when you don't have anything particularly interesting to say about the subject. I think I'd put Last Temptation in it's place on the Essentials list.

The bear was a great touch.

Favorite Ol'-Timey Mr. Burns Reference
His ideal softball team, including such luminaries as Honus Wagner, Cap Anson, and (my favorite) Mordecai "Three-Finger" Brown.

Dammit!
I missed the beginning of the episode, so I completely missed Abed's subplot until that last montage. And at that point I just wondered, "Why is someone delivering a baby in the background?" I'll have to rewatch this on Hulu tomorrow.

You really shouldn't.

Best. Intro. Ever.
Any article regarding Steve Albini should begin with, "Consummate cranky person Steve Albini…"

You've obviously never heard of The Great Kat.

When she sat down with him, my first thought was "Uh oh, Don Draper Fingerbang Alert!" Little did I know…

They sell your information to advertising agencies. So yeah, wealthy vampires.
