I believe that the "Cadillac of DVD's" tag has less to do with the cover and more to do with the quality of their restorations and the bounty of extras they add to each package. Say what you will about how the outside looks, the contents that lay within always live up to the company's stellar reputation.

It's cult has grown gradually over the past ten years. Most were indifferent towards it when it came out, but many (including myself) later came around and recognized how good a movie it is.

Thank you!!!! I hate that movie with a passion. When I first saw it, my initial response was "meh," but I can't tell you how many people have been completely flabbergasted at my indifference towards the movie. Now, every time I end up in an argument about it I just become more and more enraged than the last time.

You compared it to Bergman, Tati, Kubrick, and Gilliam's "Brazil," hitting pretty much all of the bases of awesomeness. Consider me sold.

Try "The Lookout," and "Brick," if you haven't already. I haven't seen "Mysterious Skin," but I gather that he's great in it.
