I'd rather go through GG Allin. At least you *knew* he was slinging shit.

Nah, they can't take TIRED OLD jokes. Jeez, try a little harder, why dontcha.

I'm one of the few people who actually watched Current a few years ago, and I preferred its style back then. (Vanguard was always good.) The viewer-created content was often quite polished; the "Flip camera/YouTube" snark was a bit harsh.  Having said that, it's now just another cable channel, KO or no KO.

Never liked Sandler, his movies, his stand-up, his horrid singing, his wastes of time on SNL. He has all the comic appeal of a busted parking meter.

And perhaps Killing Joke.

Big Star.(Duh.)

FINALLY someone mentions this. His Ballmer is eerily accurate. And his explanation of the Biggest Business Deal Of The 20th Century in the film is spot-on - nice work on the screenwriters' part as well as DiMaggio's. (Short version: IBM was stoopid.)

Nah, the show is "too local".

Just a thank you
Thanks Noel foe the trip down memory lane (which seems to be lined with a fuckload of Betamax).

"KLAGG!"
This got me thinking of SCTV's first season and a similar gag. Who remembers "Klagg"? He was a cop Sweden who would throw his wooden shoes at criminals on the streets of New York. (I think Harold Ramis played him.)

Yes, give it another chance. You didn't buy Citizen Kane now, did you?

Oh, quit yer bitchin' and move to North Carolina already like everybody else.

That's too bad. You're gonna die wearing that stupid post. How does that make you feel?

Seriously tho', the show he did on NUMMI (the GM plant in California) is must listening, especially for B-school students and other aspiring managers.

Putting this in perspective for a moment:

Damned. Bollocks. Hmm.
