He looks just like you, poindexter!

True story: I was stationed in San Diego - and living in Imperial Beach - when that show was being made, and I saw them filming one day. I asked one of the grips what the show was. He told me it was John From Cincinnati and it would be on HBO. When I asked what it was about, he just said, "Fuck if I know. It's weird,

…I think he should have to take a different oath.

He's The Dud, so that's what you call him!

Punishing people for being productive doesn't help anyone. Increasing the amount of income you take from people as they work harder just takes away their incentive to work harder. Someone who makes $20 million will now be making $3 million, so why should they do $20 million worth of work? Why should they invent that

Oh yeah, I get the law, I pay taxes too. I'm asking your rationale - how is taxing someone 85% going to give them any incentive to be productive? Someone has busted their ass to the point where they're making $5 million, and you think they should only make $750,000? By that logic, there's people making way less than

Yes, and the amount makes a difference. Like, say, charging someone $20 bucks for medication versus charging them $2,000. 85% income tax isn't going to help anyone.

Someone hit it with a classic logic-bomb paradox.

Still my favorite short story of all time.

^Same. Also, I have Ultraviolet digital copies for most of my blu-rays, and I can download them on my phone. It's great for killing time at places where I don't have my laptop (waiting rooms, etc).

"HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL

I love my Galaxy S6, but yeah, the lack of SD cards kills me. It's essentially unlimited storage, why would you do away with that?

2% is not 85%. Hell, I'd kill to only pay 2% in taxes. That'd be one hell of a deal.

No one's going to work for 15 cents on the dollar. They'll either retire with the millions they've already made, or negotiate for a $4,999,999-a-year salary and fringe benefits.

Want to raise the cost of healthcare? Nurses will get paid more.

Now I'm totally making a folder within my main porn folder that says "boringly regular porn" to separate it from the freaky stuff.

Cheerfully withdrawn.

Even porn?

Hellholes are fucking metal.
