Toronto features prominently in a ton of movies, but that's usually while it's hiding its Toronto-ness: standing in for New York, aping Chicago, etc.
But Scott Pilgrim vs. The World not only flaunted its Toronto-ness, but turned it into a fun 8-bit fantasyscape!
(and it took Brit Edgar Wright to do it)

Why the hate?
I thought this was a great episode, though probably (sadly) the action-y thing I was so looking forward to…they did have a chase sequence at least, and slanted shots, and yeah that's about it.
My least favourite episode of the series so far was probably Basic Genealogy - I just found it too cluttered and…
