But isn't that supposed to be the joke, that she is actually not fat at all, so it further illustrates their more dickish qualities to give her that nickname?

Oh yeah! I liked Betty.
I just got the DVD of The Ref the other day and I'm so excited. This year holiday movie season will be done RIGHT (or I'll stick my own dick in my ear).
Well, to me that was always the mark of great film noir: a plot I can follow, but damned if I could explain it to anyone afterwards.
I watched season 2 again on some marathon and I gotta say I had more sympathy for Marcel than the first time around. He's definitely an obnoxious little shit, but there was some serious clique-y bitchiness from the rest of the cast that was pretty out of line for grown-ups.
Except for Sam. He was pretty bitchy at times, but he still makes me melt…
I also am thankful for the low price of gasoline. $1.69 today!!!
Has anyone here actually ever gotten to eat the timpano? It's been a dream of mine to try ever since I saw that movie.
Every time my roommate or I check to see if someone wants a drink, it always turns into orange whip? orange whip?
The Café Central was probably the most beautiful café I've ever been to. It had what appeared to be porcelain vaulted ceilings that were just gorgeous.
The arrival of the cream was so beautifully lit and in the middle of such an insanely tense scene it's just this beautiful minuscule moment of distraction.
I totally put a layer of basil leaves under the cheese in my lasagna, like Carmela.
I was convinced the real Undertaker was gonna be on the phone and they had sent up some kind of decoy.
I re-watched that episode the other day and I totally agree. Great casting, I absolutely think that was Bear sucking on the fish head.
Also that string of reflections effect in the elevator mirrors made me think of the Lebowski dream sequence.
Man, Patrick Wilson is absolutely killing it on this show. I e never been particularly impressed with him, but his quiet moments blow me away.
Tonight was definitely a Lebowski homage.
I don't know, I felt like when Bear was smashing get his cast on the hood of the car two of the hits had an extra gunshot like sound that accompanied them. I read that as him hearing two shots he fired. Though maybe I was just hearing things. Or maybe he fired in the air. But I do feel like her getting to knee Shit…
I think he totally deserved it for that one. It was such an incredibly physical performance, and I would like to see that recognized occasionally, rather than physical in the sense of "I lost a lot of weight". That wiggle down the country club stairs scene alone was Oscar-worthy.
His standup is actually really fantastic. I've seen him twice and both times I found him really smart and open-minded. The second time we chatted with him a bit and he was delightful. But online he comes across very juvenile.
