Well isn't that kind of the point. She didn't win by playing some mega-inspirational character, she just won for a great performance (I haven't actually seen the show, but is her character even someone who necessarily had to be black?) That's why this is a big step and represents an opening up of more roles to

And then you scoop her poop from a box and realize your power is just an illusion…

I was also very happy to see the Too Cute narrator get a nod. I love the way that show is out together, and I want his job.

Nice work, if you can get it.

I really want to see Nicholas Hoult get a nomination too. He blew me away.

I don't remember much about In the Mouth of Madness except that it creeped me out like nothing else ever has. I don't know what was happening at the time I watched it, but me and my friends just felt this overwhelming sense of dread to the point that I've never been able to rewatch it, cause that feeling just comes

But first, stabby stabby

I still remember watching this opening scene with my dad when I was about a junior in college. When the killer called her blondie he was outta there. That scene at least is pretty legitimately scary in my book.

That brief moment when she walks into frame with her parents is one of those movie moments that hits me so much I always hope it's somehow going to be different each time I watch it.

I saw him at a q & a once and he was so soft spoken and dorky. Makes the rage in his performances all the more impressive.

But what an ending, holy shit.

I'm torn between Michael Shannon and Stephen Graham as my favorite ultimately. Capone had some moments that still choke me up just thinking about them. So many incredible performances on that show.

"I'm looking for sex" does not mean "I'm looking for sex with anyone who wants to hop on in there". That is the problem with your line of reasoning. If a woman is interested in sex and puts that out there, she still gets to choose with whom and if she ultimately wants to at all. No one else gets to take that decision

I went to Beloit College in the late 90's and we were all into Days of our Lives in a big bad way.

My grandmother was the librarian at Downers Grove North!

Dammit, I just need to stop replying from my phone. I always miss typos or the damn thing sneaks them in as it posts.

Me too, but ultimately I found that to be the book's strength. I came for the serial killer murder castle but truly got hooked by the story of Hicago's transformation for the workd's fair. It was fascinating.

I heard about the puppy death, so when John Wick came on HBO recently, I just skipped to what felt like a safe distance. I don't think I can handle watching the puppy death.

Our favorite is the psychedelic Yule log.

Marie Poppins, for one.
