yeah, this is an important discussion.

what's up, motherfuckers?

it's fucking depressing.

this is the first i've heard about hopper having cancer.

maybe anybody who goes to see the "kristen bell in paris" movie deserves to get cancer?

you'll do anything once, you'll try anything twice, you do what you gotta do, oh but i love you suzanne…

waitaminnit! is this counterfeit mbs? he seems awfully rude today.

gettin born in the state of mississippi, poppa was a copper and momma was a hippie…

it's interesting how many kurosawa films during his great '46-'65 run deal with the same issues of self-sacrifice for the common good in a world where there is absolutely no promise of reward for virtue.

i'll miss that big-titted avatar.

i think diabeetoff got it right.

nah, it's only funny when black celebs break the law. aren't there two people using katt williams mug shot for a user id pic on this site?

well, you just sucked the life out of this thread and maybe this entire site.

color me mystified as to how anybody could call 'rashomon' overrated. i thought it was amazing. 'rashomon', 'ikiru' and 'seven samurai' are all just brilliant, near-perfect movies. cinema today would be unimaginable without them. 'throne of blood' is interesting but rather detached due to its reliance on noh theater

the only thing that stumps me more than 'chuck' stilll being on the air is the idea that somebody who isn't retarded would actually give a fuck about it.

that cast list makes it pretty clear why it wasn't mentioned.

i've never read 'mystic river' or 'gone baby gone' but saw both films and felt that the endings just didn't work. they felt very contrived in a writerly way that didn't jibe with the subjects and settings. i actually appreciate that spoiler-y post up above, because i'd feel awfully cheated if i paid to see a movie

gondry's involvement makes me at least curious.
