Inspiration comes from lots of places.

Supergirl is great.
The Marvel/DC crossovers were always a bit touch & go. The original JLA/Avengers crossover got canceled long before it saw the light of day.
I have nothing against the Power Rangers (I'm the biggest Infra Man fan around, by gum!), I just don't fucking care.
Ha ha ha! Other cultures are silly!
And they're poised to reap big dividends when Thor and Tony Stark and the FF finally come screaming back in their own version of Rebirth.
I'm too old for this shit.
"Carmella Bing." Truly, we owe the Sopranos a debt we can never repay.
Personality-wise, Barda was Roz (or at least, Mark Evanier will tell you that). Physically, Barda was based on Kazan.
Did not watch last week's episode - kind of not too interested in this show, and still haven't watched the last few eps of the first season - but damn if I'm not going to check this out now. The JSA is my jam. I just hope they don't screw it up too badly.
I don't think James needs to put on a costume to do that (at least, not one that doesn't stretch or have a shell). I like the idea of Jimmy Olsen, "Action Man" who just approaches the super-shenanigans in a kind of blase way, because he's already sidekicked for Superman for a decade.
Oh my God, can you imagine this show doing the Hairies?
Good points, but I liked the evil businessman version of Luthor. I think it showed that there are some things that superheroes can't solve by punching them, and it allowed Luthor to become more of a supporting cast member than merely that month's antagonist. And I think Luthor is such a rich and interesting collection…
Alex is easily my favorite character on the show. A dip into the dark side would not be unwelcome, as long as she doesn't go too far to come back.
Did I just watch Superman and Martian Manhunter beat up Metallo in live action on my television? I'm over 40 years old but I feel as if I must squee like a teenage girl.
Okay, cool. I'm down.
I quite liked the trailer and have loved David Bowie for literally decades. No ripping involved.
I remember the press for the first X-Men movie, where Jackman talked about portraying this character who was beloved so much by so many people, and I think he compared it to a biopic. He was very concerned about getting it right. And I think, because he didn't go into like "oh its a comic book movie," he knocked that…
If he didn't, I will.
And it never ceases to amaze me how far to the left he was compared to the current crop of GOP asshats.
