I thought it was great…until I actually listened to the lyrics.

IMDB said it was Alan Rickman which I find easier to believe.

I love that scene in the doc. It's the best analogy for how they served as icons for a generation that changed if not everything, quite a bit. Not just musically, but in the world at large.

I get the hate, but honestly I have a bit of sentimentality towards it so I can't hate it too much. I think being a Christmas song saves it from being complete garbage.

I'm curious as to how history will treat Paul once he dies (which hopefully will be a long time from now, can't think of many other 65+ guys playing 3-hour sets). John's been elevated to this position of icon (maybe even a martyr to some people), but I'm not sure how much of his solo work will stand the test of time…

Lame

I like "Young Turks" better. Maybe a better answer would be that the Stones hired someone else and Wood stayed as a hanger-on to Stewart and they continued rocking together.

I wish someone successfully made the argument to Rod Stewart that disco sucks.

I love it, especially the extended live version from their last tour.

I seem to remember it being one continuous shot, which would rule out a double.

Love Over Gold is a severely under-appreciated and underrated album. I put Brothers In Arms a little above, but I think "Telegraph Road" might be the best song MK's ever written (he still plays it at solo shows).

Like I said, pre-GoT.

Lord Of War is a good example. He plays it pretty straight (Leto has more of the "unhinged" role) and it doesn't seem too far-fetched for his talents.

Did the movie come out before or after the show started?

Joe sounds pretty awesome.

If nothing else, it's kind of a love letter to Lebowski (and Brad Pitt in True Romance).

I loved Pineapple Express too, but I couldn't even get into the trailer. I knew it was doomed from the presence of Charles Dance (this was pre-GoT), who hasn't had the best of luck with Hollywood.

Daniel Bryan?

Odd that Fox News actually backed Ellen in this particular fight from what I remember. I think it's briefly discussed in the AVC article about the whole debacle, but it was discussed how the Right Wing media will defend a celebrity only when it comes to issues of commerce, as opposed to opinion.

Mike couldn't plan that contingency because he wanted Saul to come down with the money initially. Walt volunteered.
