I read the Saville biography "In Plain Sight" (brilliant but horrific). And one of Saville's recurrent themes was that all his charity work and good deeds helped balance his account with God. He didn't specify why it needed balancing, just that it did.

The Jimmy Saville comparisons, due to how close they were, added a real (and brilliant) sense of unease. That hospital was Stoke Mandeville in all but name.

The pacing is absolutely perfect. One description I read was an action film paced like a horror film. Starts off quietly with a little dream scare to let you know what film you're watching. Then it builds up tension and releases it periodically with the action becoming more and more intense.

You secure that shit Hudson!

"Champ wake up!"

Can you sum it up in a word?

I came away thinking that the ending was quite bleak. I got the impression that she was lying to her son about how well she was handling the Babadook…

It's immediately tucked into my favourite impressions. Right along side Buffalo Bill.

I really enjoy Answer Me This. When I first started listening to it I thought it was going to be too twee/middle class but it's just good solid fun.

One of the episodes I listened to was 103, which had Andy Daly as Clive Dundee (the fifth member of U2) and that was only section I was consistently laughing at.

What am I missing with Comedy Bang Bang? I've listened to a couple of episodes and I quite liked them, but nowhere near enough to listen to two hours. I think it might be a slight cultural thing as it sounds, to my, admittedly probably biased, UK ears, very heavily based on US improv, unfocused and rambling. But this

Did they also write it based on the Portishead album they were listening to? Specifically "Over" on "Portishead"

There really is a rich seam of killer robot schlock. I'm tempted to watch Evolver or possible Runaway this Halloween. Either John de Lancie or Tom Selleck. Tough choice.

There's a touch of James Herbert there as well.

There was also the salvage crew from Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS.

Utopia was just great. Stunning imagery at times.

I think I'm getting the most fun out of this show by imagining what Raylan Givens would have done in any of these situations.
