Anyone who knows YOJIMBO should also read Dashiell Hammett's RED HARVEST, then see Sergio Leone's A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS and Walter Hill's LAST MAN STANDING.  The movies are all version of Hammett's book, and his name appears in the credits of none of them.
