Yeah, that's what I meant as well: Son House, Robert Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, Blind Lemon Jefferson. I doubt I ever would have thought to listen to them.

I'll miss them
I was in high school when they broke through and they immediately became my favorite band. I have them to thank for almost all of the music I listen to now because I traced his influences as far back as they would go. Saw them live a bunch of times and they never put anything less than all of

Interview about the Interview
Calvin: A painting. Moving. Spiritually enriching. Sublime. "High" art!

Fresh Air
Terry Gross just interviewed him a couple of weeks ago:

Love, Actually was surprisingly pretty terrific. It's the one romantic comedy my friends and I will cop to liking. I don't know how you can resist its charms during the holidays. Sometimes I just need to believe that a 10 year old kid can run through airport security to get a kiss on the cheek from his crush, ok?

Any recommendations?
Just googled "gucci mane mistapes" and there's a heap-load. Which ones should a neophyte begin with?

Unfair to judge him on this
The few reviews I've read of this have all mentioned how it was found on his laptop after he died, and he had never told anyone he had written it. Sounds like he was probably still working on it, or had drafted it and ditched it. Sucks that people who don't know that might judge him as a

Overinflated Grade?
Think you're being a bit hard on it actually. This episode was definitely a step up over 2 and 3, which both warranted C-range grades. This was a solid B episode: none of the storylines were exceedingly interesting, but none of them were outright boring like the domestic drama from ep.2. I think

My 12-year old self is soooooo stoked right now. Pretty sure I can sing every song on Chocolate Starfish.

Agree with Tibber. I would put this movie soundly on the same level as Clockwork Orange and Full Metal Jacket. Kubrick creates a gorgeous and distinctive New Yorkian dreamscape that expresses the neuroses and fantasies of Tom Cruise's character that it becomes impossible to disentangle reality from fantasy. The

Huh?
What's the one bum scene in Psycho? I thought I liked all the scenes.

No White Stripes?
WTF?

UK or US?
It might be too late to ask this, but on iTunes there are UK and US versions of Aftermath and a couple of other albums. Which version would people recommend?
