I thought it was very funny and worth the A-, but I did just watch The Office right before it, so that definitely skewed things in its favor. I was so glad that the Tom/Ann romance is done and that the show still has that perfect blend of humor and heart. Parks & Rec is back!

I watched all of Frasier when it originally aired, but hadn't seen it since then. Since it has been on instant Netflix and my husband had never seen it, we've been re-watching the entire run. I'm amazed how well it holds up! Very representative of the nineties, with the coffee orders and the rise of pop psychology,

I had less problems with the premise and more with not caring about any of the characters. I'll give it a few episodes to see if that changes. And hope for more Giancarlo Esposito.

I didn't realize so many shows had episodes playing on this theme, but it would be an interesting topic for an AVClub article if they haven't done one already. It makes sense that it would be a popular theme for TV and movies to explore since it touches on so many long-standing questions in religion and philosophy,

The guy presenting in the meeting had the perfect "boring speaker" voice. I get the feeling that if Mulder had known both possible outcomes, he still would have chosen the bank/gunman/bomb over sitting through that meeting.

Great observations. I agree that the scene where Scully is holding Mulder after he gets shot is moving, and Gillian Anderson does some really great acting there. That scene is so Scully, with her handling the situation with utmost professionalism, yet her "I just want everyone to live" shows how non-detatched she

I think that's fine, and it all depends on your personality. I tend to be obsessive, so I can easily watch countless hours of a show until its done, and would do it more if not for work and other life responsibilities. My husband can only watch maybe 2 episodes of something before he needs a break. But it doesn't mean

I wonder this quite a bit myself. I've been re-watching some Cheers and Frasier on Netflix, and I was amazed how quickly they had their act together. Cheers had a rocky first few episodes, but the characters were set. Frasier knew was it was doing from the pilot. Why has the new standard become "maybe by season 2 this

I definitely agree. The reviews for Seven Psychopaths combined with my love for In Bruges make me more excited to see it than any other movie coming out this year.
