In Bruges was my first thought, too. Anything with Colin Farrell immediately equals low expectations for me, but I'd rank it in my top ten favorite movies. Brilliantly dark and funny. Conversely, I hope I'm not jinxing myself by how much I'm looking forward to Seven Psychopaths.

Ghoul. Ghoul ghoul ghoul.

And even now on re-watch I can barely believe when he is first introduced on Buffy that this character will become my favorite in all of Whedon and one of my favorites of all time, ever. His transformation was so perfect.

Last week people talked about Jeffrey Bell, and I feel similarly about John Shiban. I never cared much for his solo written episodes, with the exception of Pine Bluff Variant. But then he went on to write for Breaking Bad (and I don't know how much Gilligan's oversight deserves the credit) but Phoenix alone forever

I agree with this. It was never what I would consider a great show, but I found it entertaining, with characters I loved (Lionel) and some I hated (Lana). The middle seasons were a painful slog, but seasons 8-10 were a lot of fun.

The same thing happened to me. I tuned in because of the X-Files references and residual Angel love, then watched about half of the first season before I got tired of it.

There are awards in the streets just waiting for someone to scoop them up.

I was thinking the same thing. I like my Roku/Netflix/Hulu setup and even though I'm exactly the person FX feels they are losing money on, I can't imagine ever going back to cable. For shows I can't wait until the end of a season to see (like Breaking Bad), I buy each episode off Amazon. For shows I love like Louie

Agreed on the rewatchability factor. Also, I like that the "monster" is a non-malevolent creature, which off the top of my head I can't remember ever happening before. I thought that was a nice change of pace, and would have been even more so if it had come after a string of darker episodes. It's not surprising that

I very much agree with Zack here. The episode has major problems, with its blatant pandering to shippers and placement in an overly long line of comedic episodes. But I still have a lot of love for it because I find it so damn funny. There are some weird sequences were Mulder doesn't have any lines for some

I agree that Josh is overrated. He made a few good dishes and the other contestants keep saying what a threat he is, but I don't see it. That corn thing he made last night looked absolutely disgusting. I would have preferred they brought Stacey back. Or Tali, for laughs.
