I agree that Josh is overrated. He made a few good dishes and the other contestants keep saying what a threat he is, but I don't see it. That corn thing he made last night looked absolutely disgusting. I would have preferred they brought Stacey back. Or Tali, for laughs.

That James subplot was so, so awful. It's a shame that the show floundered during the middle of the second season because the last few episodes were good and the series finale may be my favorite episode of TV ever.

100% agree with you on Duchovny's acting in Paper Hearts. He also impressed me in Small Potatoes and Memento Mori. He was really bringing it in season 4.

"This is perhaps an unintentional function of the way the series had to reboot itself to be about Mulder and Scully being taken off the X-Files, but the whole storyline is starting to show signs of wear and tear at this point."

I do love season 6 a lot, but this one was pretty lackluster for me. The lack of Scully, as Todd mentioned, made me less invested. I always assumed they were giving Gillian Anderson a break after some heavy screen time episodes like Ghosts (as Duchovny was later sidelined in Tithonus). I didn't hate it, I just never

This is a good question and one that made me think because I posted elsewhere about not liking Always Sunny, in part because the characters are horrible people. But it may just come down to me not finding that show funny, and without the characters having other redeeming features, I can't find another reason to watch.

I'd like to know if you were able to watch Duane Barry without following it right up with Ascension, which has some wonderfully tense scenes. Even though the mythology didn't end up amounting to much in the end, it led to some great drama in the early seasons. I don't think there is a bad mythology episode early in

Good call on Hedgehog. I had to read that for a book club and completely agree. Those may be the most self-absorbed, pretentious characters I've ever encountered in fiction.

Anasazi was always one of my favorite mythology episodes because I like a strong Scully episode and she kicks ass in that one. Just count the number of ways she saves the day.

I'm just curious if anyone can remember the first episode they ever watched?

Sometimes I wonder if it's worse for an episode to be egregiously bad but memorable (Fight Club, First Person Shooter, 3, Teso Dos Bichos) or just boring and forgettable (The List, Fresh Bones, Kaddish).
