Can someone please remind me which episode the Homer looking at the stars scene is from? I remember the scene as being really moving, but it was so long ago.

Interesting thought but then wouldn't he have heard him cry when he first landed in the hole?

"Producer David Uslan said his show will look to the noir style of Batman: The Animated Series as a major influence."

Pop-Secret

I think I know where this is going…

In my reviews for WhatCulture! I've been joking for a while now that the writers and producers have not been wasting viewers' time by forcing us to follow the typically irrelevant exploits of Quinn and Angel, but subtly preparing to announce their spin-off, the wacky, antics-filled CBS buddy-cop dramedy, Q&A.

Touche, everyone. I meant that he was simply multi-talented. Renaissance man was not the proper term to use. I concede. Should've just said multi-talented.

Pretty sure calling someone a renaissance man refers to that person as being significantly talented or knowledgeable in multiple fields. So no, no scientific articles published (that I know of), just:

Even as a big fan of pretty much everything he's done, I do understand why a lot of people think Glover is pretentious, or just plain don't like what he puts out.

This was by far among the most illuminating, intriguing, and satisfying interviews I've ever read — thank you, Todd and especially Mr. Fuller. Hannibal is one of the few series I follow (my favorite on air, definitely all time top ten) the various levels of production of which work so well to enhance the story that I

"On many shows, this would be a demerit, but on this one, it’s a significant part of its design."

Yes, phodreaw nailed it. Thanks for pointing it out. I'm not disliking reading Red Dragon, I just just have to *manage my expectations* — eh, eh?

Random curiosity — I've been loving this show so much I started reading Red Dragon and can't help but be kind of disappointed every time I pick it up because really I want more of the show, but the book is so…not the macabre, surrealistic batch of fantastic crazy-town-banana-pants the show is. Anyone else going

I'm hoping for a more gradual weening off of the episodic killers, but definitely not ditching them; not right away. And definitely don't use the Dexter approach.

I know some feel she's underwritten, but I really like her.

I'm under the impression though that Friday nights are where networks send shows to die, like with Fringe. Is that not really the case?

I felt wary for the same reasons, but being a fan of Mikkelsen (due to Valhalla Rising) also made me hopeful. Look how nicely it's turned out.

anybody else get a flashback from that one scene? (LOVED the non-face visual)

It may look that way in TPBTP, but clearly his son is not alright and his wife left him (I'm assuming). He may have won his election, but I think one of the things we're meant to take away from his character is despite appearances this man has wrought a lot of pain due to his moral shortcomings.
