Oh man, I just noticed how the screen sort of shatters when they enter the battle.  Amazing.  Straight up FFX.

Flying Lotus did the end credits song!  I love when everything that's important to me in life gets mashed up together in one psychedelic 30 second end credits sequence.

i don't really think you need to go and watch "cheers", although it can be a funny show.  it's your typical sitcom (a good one though!).  i think the major takeaway for me was just simon's struggle to hold on to some scrap of his former, normal life, as he's losing his mind trying to survive in a nuclear wasteland.

i think "i remember you" was more about marcy coping with simon's memory loss, whereas "simon and marcy" came more from simon's perspective.  so i guess i didn't see it as filler, because we haven't really ever spent time with simon, or seen his struggle through his eyes.  also the use of the "cheers" theme i thought…

COMPLETELY agree with this.  while the simon episodes are some of my favourite, i think a focus on minute back story or "lore" details is not at all what the show is about.  i would hate to see it get bogged down with that stuff.

I heard "hot daniel" which I thought was pretty fantastic?!

I also freakin LOVED how Finn is just walking around outside the dungeon just pulling on random stuff and looking under rocks.  SUCH a video gamey thing to do.

I just thought the weird snuffling thing at the beginning was just a cute way of cheering up FP!   FP laughing at Finn being a doofus was just super sweet.
