with louis and louis b-side?

i really want to put marbles in my nose now

this was my ringtone for a while…

Exactly.  It is clearly of an era, stylistically, but isn't dated.

that's a good point about them both being the less popular 'sibling'.  I hadn't thought of it that way….

While i love both, i have a really hard time comparing the two.  There is a degree of old style sentimentality to futurama and a dedication to the traditions of sci-fi storytelling that american dad doesn't.  Regarding humor, while both are kinda 'zany', american dad descends into absurdism in a way that futurama does

really? shit…. my bad

On eggnog - I feel like getting drunk… but i also feel like PANCAKES!

A personal triumph this week - getting a friend to watch this show after a year of telling her how much she'd like it.  And she loves it!

:( facebook blocked by great firewall…

also, not great analogy, as obviously the American concept of new year came from Europe.

yes but Chinese new year is from historical China, and they did conquer / influence a lot of Asia throughout their history.  Tet, e.g., originated from China due to strong influence between China and Vietnam. And in places like singapore, of course, they celebrate CNY due to the Chinese diaspora.

yay! though the streets of beijing are uncharacteristically quiet-ish today…

Agreed! I'm far more excited than I'd admit if I weren't posting anonymously…

meant to start a new thread… senility you know.

i was wondering what Peter Krause and a young Nicholas Cage had to do with south park…

didn't he review the garfield movie in the voice of garfield or jon?

awesome

second!

oh lord - i can only imagine the sound of drunk screaming people trying to sing way below their register…
