I think we got somewhere with that. Now if we can just clear up the loose ends about free jazz, then we can start on turntablism.

"more drama" = playing every piece of footage at least 4 times over, and inserting an obligatory scene in which Ramsay tries to mimic throwing up.
Or virtuoso icers. D'ja ever think of that?
@ElDan: nice to see Arcade Fire taking an epic burn they actually deserve for once. Kudos, sir.
minutiae
MinutiaE. Plural.
Ai'ight. I'm talked in. I still have lots of questions, but they're not for here. Sale made, wish me luck.
@UMD: yeah, I guess it is a weird question, because I'm trying to put my finger on something and failing. I find movies like this interesting, because cruelty is inherently fascinating (if done well, or at least attention-grabbing if done poorly). And yet the idea of a film (of which there are many) whose entire plot…
I thought of Funny Games too, though I must confess I haven't seen either. I'm fascinated by films like this though: if you're going to make a film about human cruelty, why do it by excluding everything else from your film?
Sorry to ruin it, buddy, but… the secret code was the nursery rhyme he told his baby daughter.
Haha, looks like my work here is done. Someone already posted a link to that McCoy episode with the stairs, people are sharing Lewis-Smith videos, life is good.
Ha! Stairs haven't been a problem for those murderous pepperpots since I was hiding behind the sofa!
Hey Violet Crumbles: no incest.
>Utterly disposable rags-to-riches-story
>a plot we've seen a gajillion times before
If mermaids are involved, is there another kind?
^ exaggerating about the "three lines total" thing I mean
To anyone who hasn't seen KFP1: Afghamistam is only barely, technically exaggerating.
@Revisiting has a point. All Dreamworks productions are inevitably going to be compared to Pixar, and as rivals go, those motherfuckers are bulletproof. KFP1 was probably the second ever Dreamworks joint (after Shrek) that you could honestly say DESERVED to be compared to a Pixar film. Once you've started making…
I really wish I hadn't been coming to this site long enough to know that Clueless is a teacher.
Chaos reigns.
Well, I did like Bad Boys 1, but then I was 14 and on a plane. And Armageddon is plain hilarious - I think it hits that spot for me that Con Air seems to hit for most other people.
