So we're ragging on New Order and no-one's mentioned Every Second Counts?

So it's not just a clever name then?

Can't say I remember it but it looks interesting. Was it a hacked version of Lode Runner or what?

Interesting, Edgewise - I didn't see where the point about things happening for a reason was being made. I think that put a lot of people off the film - the what-do-you-mean-it's-not-profound monologues at the beginning and end that try to tack an arbitrary meaning onto a film that generally noodles around without

Aww, cut Magnolia some slack. The only thing I think it's really guilty of is tacking on that bullshit about the frogs at the beginning and end to try and soften the blow of a film that has no beginning or end. That's a pussy move of Blade Runner proportions, especially since they went with that singalong scene - I

I'm presuming AVC gets some sort of kickback for all the users who come to this page and then link to bumfuckflashgames.com or whatever? Because they should.

Jewel's tits definitely weren't in the UK cinema release. Or did I blink?

I don't really have a point; I just love the way that this thread spawned an entirely unironic discussion of whether or not people should spout their politics in public when they have no official remit to do so. Spooky. Meta.

OK, I haven't seen this vid yet (I'm at work), but it must be pretty moving, considering that it's making AVC posters take each other's sarcastic banter seriously. We normally only do that for articles about real-life deaths.

Still can't work out 12 oz mouse. Occasionally it's genius, but then mostly it just goes nowhere - like a shootout that lasts for about 10 minutes and then just ends. And that stoned cop who giggles so much he can't talk - is that supposed to be funny?

GhaleonQ clearly knows his adventure games, but putting Syberia above Grim Fandango? Really? Really really? Fandango is possibly the best game I've ever played - the characters are adorable, the jokes are decent without being cheesy or overly slapstick, and the emotional buy-in is unparalleled (I welled up a bit at

Spacecataz was genius; I still can't watch it without laughing. That said, there clearly wasn't another episode's worth in there.

I'm not so hot on the newer ones, but Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max Hit the Road, and the Monkey Island series are essentials. The Myst series is another obvious classic (as long as you're OK with an adventure game with no inventory).

Lassen wir uns Numberwang zum spielen!

Well this thread hit a wall.

grrr
They better back the fuck up off of Batfink, is all I'm saying.

This movie is going to kNock. Your. Punkass. Down!

@2gt: Adam Horowitz. I don't think it's particularly hard to remember which is the Jewish one.

This is the sixth post in a row to actually speak some truth.

Sorry - reading that back it looks as though I was correcting you, which wasn't what I meant. That was a great paragraph, lexi - thanks.
