The trailer for The King's Speech actually looks pretty good. Neat story, good actors, distinctive-without-being-actually-bold visual look.

I seem to remember that Gatsby is actually a few years older than Daisy, who in turn is about Nick's age… if anything, Nick's actually a year or two older than she is.
Huh, she's mid-20's? I thought she was slightly younger… you're right, that's not quite so bad, but it's still a little irksome (partially just because I'm not a big Carey Mulligan fan to begin with, partially because she just LOOKS younger than mid-20's.)
Ah, shit, I drew ZMF this year.
Oh, god, Lord Andre, that sounds just terrible enough to be 100% plausible.
Also, I don't care if I'm alone in this, but I still really like Keira Knightley a lot and am disappointed she's not playing Daisy. Other than the whole British thing, she would have been spot on.
The DiCaprio/Mulligan age difference is roughly one Mulligan, which is my main problem with this.
I'm with you, Lovecraft. Terrific song, made all the better by their decision to put it at the end of the album. Never fails to bring a grin to my face.
The Blues Are Still Blue is the best song B&S has ever done, in my opinion, and the song I use when I try to get other people into them… it's just a perfect little number.
Zeppomarxist, you say that about everything.

Certainly possible! Just passin' along the rumor.
Not to mention "The Merry Wives of Stepford."
Actually, the "V" hand gesture apparently got its origin after the Battle of Agincourt, when the victorious British mocked the French by showing them their (the British's) index and middle fingers. If I remember correctly, the French had boasted pre-battle they were going to cut off the British digits (on account of…

I also agree. It's a great episode, but one of the more atypical ones; had Nancy Marchland lived, this premiere would have been very very different. This episode felt like a wheel-spinning stand-alone in a lot of ways (not that that's bad! Just un-premiere-like, even for The Sopranos.)
Williams was awesome in World's Greatest Dad, and also in Nolan's own Insomnia. Also, his stand-up bit regarding the origins of golf is one of my personal all-time favorites.
