As I understand it, the song "Babyface" is NOT about porn — it's about Adam Clayton's breakup with supermodel Naomi Campbell.  Speculation was that he was going to marry her and then she unceremoniously dumped his ass.  Apparently, Clayton was a wreck after the breakup — it stands to reason that he obsessively pined…

To be honest, I'm not so sure if "Stripped" is the better track.  "But Not Tonight" may have been intended as a throwaway song and may not have the weight of "Stripped", but it's incredibly catchy, has an air of reckless abandon and is ironically uplifting when compared to the rest of the Black Celebration era output.
