Mononoke Hime should be watched in the original Japanese.  Hell, I couldn't name one anime film (or series for that matter) where the english dub is actually superior to the original.

For the record, I have heard grumblings about "Feast for Crows" though, as I mentioned previously, I haven't read past the third book.  I can only surmise that a lot of the problem has to do with Martin needing to split Feast into two separate books because there was way too much content.

If anything, the first book seems to be the problem child of the first three — it sort of stumbles out of the gates and, unless one presses on, takes a while to really engage the reader.  Perhaps it has something to do with the narrative style that takes getting used to — I'm not sure — but I've yet to hear (until

I have to admit, it is a bit annoying reading someone's posts where they steadfastly refuse to use proper grammar.  Not capitalizing the first letter in a sentence is about as ludicrous as not bothering to signal when changing lanes in traffic.  I'll bet you're one of those too!  Jerk! :-)
