Sure, and for folks missing me I am very active on Twitter @NathanRabin and have a book out in June chockablock with crazy adventures. So that should hold you guys over for a little while if you're missing my inimitable/incoherent/self-indulgent voice.

Tim is on record as a huge fan of the film. He's played it in theaters more than once if I'm not mistaken. There are many unbelievably weird things about the film but one of the most striking is the pacing. I have never seen a film with pacing so poor or a tone so weird and off. It really feels like it was made by

Thanks! I am so grateful to have had such a great forum for so long. And I feel like I'm able to go out on top, which is rare.

Thanks. (has cockles of heart warmed)

Be Cool belongs in the weird sub-category of bad, failed, misguided films featuring amazing performances from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. His "monologue" from "Bring It On" was some of the funniest shit ever and he's the sole redeeming facet of PAIN & GAIN.

Thanks, although Scott also shared the gospel of Hot Rod. Love that move. Excited about seeing The Lonely Island when they come to Chicago in July.

Thanks, man. To quote Merle Haggard, I take a lot of pride in what I am, especially in having a good work ethic. I feel like I have an enormous unfair advantage over other writers in the sense that I LOVE what I do, both in terms of the writing and research that goes into it (and at the A.V Club a lot of my work, and

Thanks, man. To quote the Other Other Other Guy for a minute here, may all of your auras be aqua-marine at worst.

Thanks. I watched a full-length musical here in Chicago called Manic Pixie Dream Land, very specifically based on the conceit introduced in the first My Year Of Flops, the Saturday after my final proper day as an Onion employee. It was a very weird and bittersweet way to bookend my time here.

That'd be perfect. And Rosato would be an ideal Travolta. It would fit into his very narrow wheelhouse.

I am also on record as liking The Postman because it resonated with my fondness for government bureaucracy, specifically the post office. And to think, there are still fools who imagine me a hipster!

Thank you so much!

That was totally on the list! I'm a huge Dante guy so I really wanted that film to be great. I remember it having about a half hours worth of great stuff.

Yeah, someone posted a picture of Ellen Travolta and Lily Tomlin and they literally look like identical twins. It's uncanny.

Thanks, man. It was really amazing and validating meeting A.V Club fans on my book tours and realizing how much the site and our writing meant to them. During my years on the site, it was easy to feel like I was living and working in a bubble but getting out and meeting readers really drove home that our work was

Thanks, man. Some of the most heartrending and moving emails I've ever received have been about this column. I've written two books about fairly heavy, serious shit, like mental illness but I think this column tapped into something deep and true and important even though it was ostensibly about silly shit because it

I suspect that I will always find a way to write about strange and weird and failed movies, for I've come to feel like that's kind of what the universe wants me to do and who am I to go against the will of the universe?

Harris is the king of Random Roles. We are but mere pretenders to his throne.

So much great stuff about the episode. Didn't even get to the turtle business card. Like some crazy Magritte/Kaufman conceit.
