Here's a question for you young comedy geek types. Have you watched the complete season SCTV and original SNL DVD sets. What did you think? Did they live up to their reputation? Were they confusing? Disappointing? Did you get a lot of the references? I'm really curious as to what those shows look like to people who

Probably, though I suspect the original SNL season DVD sets didn't sell as well as they anticipated.

Probably not from me. Those took forever to write and didn't seem to have much of an audience. Writing about SNL is a tricky business even if you love and are obsessed with it, as I clearly am.

Yeah, the McDowell stuff is creepy, but not as creepy as a "Rocket Report" where Rocket lurks outside Lennon's home talking to people about two weeks before Lennon was killed. You half expect him to run over Mark David Chapman.

"Chicken Huntin" is super fun in concert. A real sing-along, that one.

Thanks. God knows it gave me a lot to work with. Books like this are kind of why the column exists.

The Gathering is a pretty accepting place. It's not the kind of environment where people cast accusing fingers and say, "You—normal looking person. You are not welcome here. Leave immediately." It's pretty easy to feel comfortable no matter who you are and the Juggalos I've encountered have been overwhelmingly

As the article hopefully conveys, Cave In Rock is in an incredibly remote area. That very much limits attendance. You really, really have to want to go to The Gathering to make the trek to Cave In Rock.

I don't think there will be a review of Mighty Death Pop. I'm definitely going to listen to the album (oh, who am I kidding, I will listen to all three versions of the album) but my bosses and colleagues aren't as enamored of ICP as I am, and I think there's a definite limit to the amount of ICP coverage they're

I wasn't using Southern as a pejorative phrase, merely a descriptive one. Harrisburg and Cave In Rock are very southern. That's not a slam. That's just a fact.
