Louis C.K. has been very generous with his time with us. He didn't have to be, but he is, which is great.

Oh, it passed that marker before it came out. It didn't move huge numbers but it did sell more than 200 copies, I can assure you. And thanks for the kind words.
Yeah, it's an audacious script that attracted a lot of attention. I didn't say it was good, just that it had quite the reputation before it was made.
I'll bite. What do y'all have to say about Little Man Tate. I haven't seen either of Foster's other directorial efforts. I hear that Home for the Holidays in particular is a giant mess/Beaver-like tonal trainwreck. Can anyone confirm and/or deny?
It does seem like his kind of thing, don't it?
I gotta say this was surprisingly readable. It was terrible yet I couldn't put it down.
Thanks. He was enormous fun to talk to. The first ten minutes of the interview didn't tape but those were interesting too. Neat guy.
This was a great piece. I liked BREATHLESS both times I saw it but this makes me feel like I should go back and see it again.
Yeah, I think Williams and Crystal are both generational things. When comedy writers criticized "Studio 60" Aaron Sorkin complained that real comedy writers like Billy Crystal weren't coming out against him, just some nobodies with blogs. That stood as a testament to how out of it Sorkin is at this point; in his mind…
Criminy, there's so much good/bad stuff in this book I never got around to the breakfast burrito solution.
Is it wrong that reading this book kind of made me want to see the big Motley Crue/Poison supershow?
he does often come across as doddering old man who needs to be woken up when it comes time to rock.
I didn't know this was on DVD until I saw it in a Red Box. It's one of those films where it's hard to believe it exists even as you're watching it.
It is entirely possible that I was exaggerating my disdain for the Black Eyed Peas ever so slightly for comic effect.
Thanks. It has been my pleasure for the most part.
Too Short is God. I once rode in an elevator with him. It was awesome. I thought about trying to get him to say his various catchphrases but thought better of it.
Incidentally, I did a Random Roles with Rapaport that will run a few months from now. Aw. Yeah.
She is crazy hot in the film. Weird to think she was super-pregnant during it, not just a little bit.
I saw it as a possible candidate for the column. It is a weird, fucked up movie. Dunno if it'd be good for a column or not but thanks for the suggestion.
From a business perspective, what ICP has accomplished is remarkable.
