There is no fucking reason I haven't read/written about that book yet. I am going to Amazon right now to correct that oversight.

I read it before this project. It might be time to revisit it.

if I can track down a copy I'll definitely cover it here.

That totally sounds like the kind of thing I should cover here. I love Sturges. He is King Awesome as far as I'm concerned.

Ha! It's funny because it's true.

to be fair, Mario wasn't a very successful video game character (it's not like he's easily the most beloved, venerable icon in video game history) so it makes sense that they'd want to distance themselves from his video game shenanigans.

yeah, I've always liked Willie D. It is a sad day when a core member of one of the most important/best hip hop groups in the world has to (allegedly) do lame shit like this just to get by.

Yes, we will.

yeah, it ends by shamelessly stealing from Back To The Future. Mathis comes back with a gun and is all, "You must help me. Some crazy shit has happened so let's jump into the DeLore—I mean, well, I'll explain later."

Watching "Super Mario Brothers" I found myself thinking it might have worked best as a Hong Kong movie, with Joe Pesci and Steve Buscemi leaping about via wire-fu and Tsui Hark or Ronny Yu directing.

too soon, bro. Too soon.

he's a lot more fun in these clips than he is in the movie. The directors definitely did not reign him in.

Super Mario Brothers
best video game ever?

That's not fair: you learned that I didn't finish that giant two pound burger twelve years ago. That there's some good reportifying!

I know. I never did finish that Big-Ass Burger, nor did I get the free tee shirt that came with said accomplishment. It keeps me awake at night sometimes.

I suspect Dreyfuss' upcoming turn in Piranha 3-D will catapult him back to the A-list (I am so not making this up).

or having to choose between renting "Sophie's Choice" and "The Devil Wears Prada".

is your friend Ludacris? Cuz that's also his birthday. I know cause he has a line that goes, "Born on the worst day/born on a cursed day/September 11th fell on my motherfucking birthday!"

I would have liked 2.0 a lot better if it had two more discs and thirty more remixes/guest appearances. It just wasn't long or self-indulgent enough. Hopefully this fucker will be a box set with remixes of every song Jay-Z has ever done.

I
had the pleasure of seeing her guest with Pinetop Perkins one night. She had amazing presence and a helluva voice.
