will definitely be deeper and darker than anything I've done before.

I'm not a vegetarian although my Amazon blog will nevertheless be chockablock with vegetarian recipies. Cuz that's just how I roll.
Wait, I think I know this one. It's because I myself am guilty of the shtick-mongering, attention-whore antics I deride Mr. Leguizamo for? Good point. I am duly chastened.
you'll have to look at the Amazon blog for that. They're adorable, though, and filled with shenanigans. Also, I just picked up a third. I feel bad asking folks to spend money on my book but 16 bucks is pretty damned reasonable, if I say so myself.
Sorry for the absence of clips
I really wanted to include the two Costello performances and "The Soiled Kimono" (cuz, you know, they'd improve this post immeasurably) but our web guy is out sick. D'oh! Get well soon, Paul.
thanks, Car Thief. I always appreciate constructive, specific criticism of my grammar.
I ain't necessarily saying you're right, Bender Bukowski, but I ain't necessarily saying you're wrong, either.
It's "The Big Rewind: A Memoir Brought To You By Pop Culture" (available for pre-order on Amazon!) though I think I'll save the MPDG story for the paperback edition.
Oh sweet blessed Lord yes, but that is a story for another time and place.
Speaking of culty character actors, Repo Man director Alex Cox has a nifty supporting role as well.
Yeah, he's great in Perdito Durango. The man had screen presence for days.
Plimpton did a lot of commercials and endorsements, which is part of the reason some of the smart set doesn't take him very seriously. He had a very commercial public persona as an upper-crust gent who'd do just about anything and live to write about it, including endorsing swimming pools and/or video game consoles.
I think Paltrow recognized Plimpton and was all, "I went to boarding school with your daughter", which is exactly the kind of thing Paltrow would say to Plimpton. Then they had dirty, dirty WASP hate-sex and made a baby together and it looked at me.
That's a great list coach! I keep telling Scott to cool it with the 'roids but he's all "these things'll be socially acceptable before you know it!"
I wasn't saying the Willard episode was a disaster, I was just listing it as a promising fourth season episode.
Apparently the Shadow is hideously ugly in some incarnations.
Good point. From here on out I'll try to include at least one clip in each of these entries.
I love that that was pretty much Tracy's only rationale for spending an enormous amount of money to reunite the cast of "Night Court".
yeah, Andy is developing into a really funny, sad, surprisingly nuanced character.
Keith recently told me Campbell passed on the Bubba Ho-Tep sequel and will be replaced by Ron Perlman. Weird. Paul Giamatti is still onboard as Colonel Tom Parker.
