If only.

I was really feeling the staging of Dancing On My Own. Everybody in darkness except Derek, Ivy, and Karen in soft spotlights was fantastic. And then as the number went on, they got lazy! Other people passed in betwen the light and the camera. The spotlight was too big at some points and lit the people behind Derek. Or

Ellis did it!

I'm not sure I even know who Peter is.

And don't forget Julia's rant that the side of Marilyn we need to see is the woman struggling to balance home and work! The struggle between the allure of the job and the stability of family life! Don't you get it? Don't you see? DO YOU GET IT, DAMMIT?

"I know what Lena Dunham’s boobs like in graphic detail."

I was so disappointed in Ru and Michelle's reaction to Alaska. Like, actually disturbed. Ru, what happened to "You're born naked and the rest is drag?" You have a whole show where women become drag queens. Why can't a man do boy drag? The correct answer to "This is RuPaul's Drag Race" is "Not RuPaul's Drag Queen Race."

That was one of my favorite moments of the episode. I loved how Michelle just gave it a look and didn't bother to comment.

I loved Detox sticking up for Alaska. It's not surprising, although frustrating, how everyone has it out for Alaska from day one; it was good to see someone sticking up for her.

Having seen Alaska perform in person, all she needs is a challenge that lets her talk, in character, and she's going to blow everybody away. She doesn't necessarily work on a straight-up runway, or a photo shoot, but as a fully-realized persona, she's phenomenal. I feel like a lot of these queens like looking good,

Having seen Alaska perform in person a zillion times, she can absolutely stand on her own merits without the constant Sharon comparisons, if the show lets her. Girl is HYSTERICAL. If she makes it to challenges like Snatch Game, or anything where she can talk in character for a while, she's going to utterly slay the

Here, it seems you're short on parentheses, so you can have this extra one:   )

Even better, I thought, was the very quick Schmidt reaction shot right afterward. He didn't even need to say anything, just a giant grin, pure unadulterated schadenfreude at Nick's embarrassment.

Correct. The author notes in Mysteries of Pittsburgh talk about having fallen in love with two men when he was just out of college — one he slept with, and one he loved too personally to ever want to sleep with. (Pretty much like Art Bechstein, in other words).
