When watching the first few episodes, it's jarring to see how bright they tried to light it, until they found that nice yellow gold hue.

I think the quotes are mixed up.  When the power was turned off, it was "Well, middle class was fun." and when Dan was in jail, it was "We're officially poor white trash." …I may know too much about this series.

I'm gonna keep posting roseanne episodes, because I can.  You really get a sense of how real a father Dan was here, when Becky and Mark took out Dan's bike.  The moment that sells it for me is this moment:

I believe that clip also ran on a "Women in comedy special" on mothers day about 10 years ago.  It was my first teenage introduction to Roseanne.
