I would love to see a top 10 of Roseanne for this, as I hold it as a direct descendant of All In The Family and the last of the social-issue sitcoms, where they can tackle tough issues without venturing into "very special episode" territory.

My favorite example of being corrected is when the Bunkers are being robbed by black criminals, and when Archie starts to go on one of his runs, Mike interjects about Archie not knowing what it's like to grow up poor and black in the city and the robber asks mike: "And you do?"
