What an absurd article. Just listen to all the albums, in order. There's your primer.

Oh my god, what a horrendous movie.
What are you, 12 years old?
He also made a ton of lousy movies, so there's that. His filmography was highly uneven.
Congratulations. Clap, clap.
Here you go again, A.V. Club, acting as Criterion's press agents. Tell me: what in the hell is the point in reviewing this DVD release, of a movie that everyone knows is a classic, rather than taking on something much more interesting, such as Kino's recent releases of DVDs of the films of Alain Robbe-Grillet?
Wait, are you the same A.A. Dowd who gave the completely and utterly retarded "The Conjuring" a positive review and a B+? Then your opinions on all films ever mean absolutely nothing to me.
Only one of the most influential and amazing American avant-garde films of all time.
Please stop it with these "The A.V. Club" jokes. They have grown tiresome.
Why in the world do people keep comparing Godard to Brakhage? They have absolutely nothing in common. I mean, NOTHING. Just because Dowd threw in a random, "hey-look-at-me-I-took-an-intro-film-studies-class" reference to "Dog Star Man" does not mean that commentors need follow suit.
"Mothlight" is only about 2 minutes long. It's not a difficult film.
"Like Stan Brakhage’s seminal experimental epic Dog Star Man, Goodbye To Language is a tempest of information." What a completely random reference. Is that, like, the only Brakhage film you watched in film school?
I remember that same discussion in "Father Ted."
Marriage is an inherently oppressive institution, hence any show celebrating weddings can in no way be "empowering." What a dumb article.
Or, as he's known around my house, "famous racist Eric Clapton"
Except when it wasn't.
Never mind. Already said.
Had to downvote you for this one. Not only is the Armin Tanzarian (sp?) plot ludicrous, but Edna Krabappel's supplicating to so-called Seymour Skinner is ludicrously out of character. An all around bad episode.
"Caveat" means "warning". What exactly should we be warned of?
Her voice always sounded really, really off to me. Some poor voice acting there.
