First 43 minutes: B+ Sherman-Palladino is using a lot of familiar Gilmore Girls rythyms, but no one does them better. Dialogue is snappy, the leads are enjoyable and the conflicts that are being set up seem a little predictable, but entertaining. (I mean, we can all see Boo's very special bulimia episode coming a mile

Eh. All I could think of while watching this was "I guess Matt or Trey had a bad experience at the airport last week."

Holy crap,  they were bad. This is the band the AV Club is jizzing their pants over?

Hells yes! Conan in Houston was amazing.

See: Garofalo, Janeane. She's outspokenly liberal and gets hate mail and death threats from Tea Party loons. Other people just hear "Janeane Garofalo" and "controversial" through the media and assume there's something to it.

So, which SNLs are you watching? My personal rankings are diametrically opposed to yours. Melissa McCarthy was by far the strongest episode this year. I was very excited about Anna Farris, but aside from the LIfetime gameshow, nothing this week really stood out.
