Mega-Lo-Sorbancy

How did such a good cop become such a bad priest?

I always thought that was Batman telling them what they might have expected him to see in order to avoid telling them what he actually experienced.

Yup it was because of Teen Titans that he never appeared on JLU. Robin wasn't allowed on The Batman for the same reason, which is why Batgirl was the first sidekick on that show. When Teen Titans came to an end, he was finally allowed to be used.

Mark Evanier, whose blog Human J. Manperson linked to below, spoke on Paul Dini's podcast about how Hanna Barbera once tried to pitch some shows to a network; a Charlie's Angel homage/rip-off, something set in space, and a new Casper series. They ended up selling them one show merging all three concepts.

Except for how it wasn't a Hanna Barbera production or they didn't solve mysteries or have a sidekick and if you consider meddling to include stopping a giant monster from destroying a city, then yes absolutely.

Zick Goffermanakis?

Yul Brynner as Namor the Sub-Mariner.

Imagine all the destruction MacGyver could have wrought with a Servbot mask.

My body is a roadmap of pain!

I think that's an unfair assessment of Nightwing, as he hasn't had the opportunity to do anything this season besides being the leader. That's about to change real quick now that he has no team, no Batman and he's the only who's suspicious of Blue Beetle.

It was years before I picked up on the change in music. I just knew Herman smashing through the doors was far cooler than him quietly emerging from the staircase.

I really like the third opening where they just cycle through the promo illustrations of all the characters. This is probably what you mean by lazy but I felt the simplicity of it was an interesting change of pace. And I think it only played for the last few episodes of season 1 so I associate it with that stretch of

I don't get the aversion to CGI. Green Lantern was as good as any of the other Bruce Timm. It really belonged on the recent Inventory of TV shows that eclipsed their movie origins, seeing as how the show was created to cash in on the movie. Instead the movie killed the series. The movie's flopped and so did it's toy

There is zero sexual tension between Goku and Vegeta. For that matter there is no sexual tension between them and their wives.

Last time I saw JTT was on an episode of Veronica Mars, so that was awhile ago.

Cruel cruel cruel.

In the case of Voltron and Robotech it was about adding up different series to get enough episodes for syndication.

It helps that kids today have incredibly easy access to music made 40 years ago.

I never understood why the episode was banned if it all the cursing was intentionally bleeped. Now I see that it's obvious what they're saying regardless of the bleeps, which I guess is almost always true of bleeping.
