You are pretty much right. The most unrealistic thing about this show is how impressed everyone in the Valley (especially the whole crowd at Disrupt) is over some arcane theoretical CS breakthrough. Monetizing something like that would be a slow process. You wouldn't jump straight into the world of flashy…
