Whether Petrov requested her dismissal or not, she was ineffective in the role and people died because of it. Instead of taking responsibility for that she whines about being dependent on her husband as the First Lady? Forgive my ignorance, I still don't understand why she is unhappy.

I felt the same way, while she was in the tub I was wondering now "why is Claire upset again????" What I admire most about her character is her confidence and being envious of her husband and begging him to take charge just did not work for me. I do not like the envious, insecure Mrs. Underwood.

I never thought I wouldn't care if Claire and Frank divorced but I don't. Like Claire I am over the show but ironically because of her. Her plot this season was horrendous - unsure why they went in this direction but I am over the show
