Is "hey, kill all the bastards who might have a claim to my throne" really that cunning of a plan? Especially given that almost any sentence he utters starts with the phrase "Hey, kill….."

It seems to me that he has to believe there may be some truth to it, otherwise he would have no need to kill them since they would pose no threat to his claim as the rightful heir.
Technically, we're all products of our upbringing.
(upbringings? unsure)
@avclub-82cf46948ca0f531a256e38473c9282f:disqus She was to know it because, um, I knew it? And I was screaming it at my tv, so yeah.
Ok, fair enough, I guess it's one of those "plausible but completely infuriating to a mostly omniscient audience" things.
Could be way off, but I've never read Robb as "hungry for power." Certainly initially he was seen as going into it pretty reluctantly, and only as someone who was duty- and honor-bound to do so (his father having been killed and him being the oldest Stark and all). He may certainly be getting a taste for it, what with…
@TMJW:disqus You can't call all the characters selfish and superficial and then also criticize Max's character as "just another" "stereotypically" selfish and superficial gay man. If everyone on the show is selfish and superficial, then Max is just another selfish, superficial character in the show's universe who…
About 2 seconds of internetting yielded this: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
Although, admittedly, before those 2 seconds you had me convincing myself that I was just remembering the episode of Happy Endings where Brad does parkour (on the same week or within a week of each other, I believe).

Zooey - fuck & marry
Lizzy - fuck & marry
Hannah (CeCe) - fuck & marry
Also, everyone is unusual, which is the only thing that keeps my murderous rage at bay. That's normal, right?
@avclub-7f7e803ee2d1481fd805f34086a52c37:disqus Please be more specific: do you mean members of the St. Louis Cardinals dress you? The Arizona Cardinals? Any number of collegiate athletic teams? Or, more creepily, cardinals of the catholic church? Did you mis-pluralize Stanford's mascot? Is it musicians from the band?…
I'm assuming you mean "ador*able" (couldn't get myself to actually type it out), but I don't even know how you would use it in this context. Since it's an amalgam of adorable + dork, would it be "ador*able closet"? "Closet ador*able"? Surely not "ador*able closet dork"?
Explain yourselves,…
That's definitely the kind of joke they go for. It is also definitely not the kind of joke they get.
In that it doesn't sound like it's a line from someone's stand up set that was cut and pasted into any random racist scene.
@avclub-19db33a7920e55ba3a32ab69d87f65b8:disqus By "biggest," do you mean in terms of obesity? Because in that case, they are 4th, but definitely, uh, gaining on 3rd.
First in friendship, though. So that's something.
@avclub-4259dd8f99a128b78539ba11c338f4ca:disqus That's because go-gurt is absolutely terrible. You can only exceed expectations if something is relatively terrible. There is no bar lower than go-gurt.
Can we all stop pretending that any of us is going outside? There will always be episodes and seasons to catch up on, and barring that, rewatches of too much classic tv to be had. I, for one, will be rewatching Arrested and Party down concurrently on repeat, hoping that the end of one of the rewatches will coincide…
5, 4, 3, nose, 1.
Where did you learn to count?
They don't technically specify who is partying. Also the "down" modifier should have lowered your expectations.
The world will only end on days the Mayans can get a park permit.

Technically, every clip of Alison Brie is a clip of her being awesome.
