I think we have ample proof that he is decidedly NOT a goddamn programming expert.

Like for comedy.
Disliked for hitting-too-close-to-home.

Yeah, but this isn't even news. If I recall, it was always the "plan" to bring it back "sometime in the spring."

@Scrawler2:disqus Ho. Ly. War. If April Showers, May Flowers isn't already in development, something is seriously wrong with everything. I would watch the fuck out of that movie.

Yeah, I also assume they mean "the perfect amount." Sean O'Neal is the greatest gimmick poster the TV Club has. Well, unless Leslie Knope Headlines decides to come back (please come back!).

BtD, H, and HtMiiA.
Fixed for consistency.

Breaking News:
@avclub-93e06678bf43969ed7f3b3377605aa8c:disqus exposed as news anchor Morbo. More on this as it develops.
Back to you Morb- uh, Jimmy.

@Scrawler2:disqus I assume the underlying message there is "When you only care enough to post the very best."
I didn't know there was a level below e-cards, but I think we've found it. Scrawlmark Industries, Inc., Ltd., Co., TM for the win!

@avclub-87caf7c42aedbada42572e2374eed08d:disqus I assumed - and posted - that exact thought in the MF thread, and Donna's reply was:

It really just doesn't make sense for any hockey fan to boo the Canadian Anthem, since that would mean they are booing at least half their team.

@avclub-09a0aabb73e345f3b2ad865bc4fc1b28:disqus But it can't be over! There was that kiss after the end-of the-world we-only-have-10-grand-left megaparty! He's supposed to visit her in Bloomington! For a second I remembered it as Bloomingdale's!

Nathan Ford's Evil Twin, for some reason Disqus won't let me @ you. I think you are right on the first part, but that it is also within the larger context of the show's potential (otherwise all shows would have at least one "A" episode). However, you contradict yourself in the Modern Family point: if it gets a

@jayydee92:disqus Being condescending to condescension is cool and all, but the point has been asked - and answered - in essentially every thread that has existed at the TV Club, so if the poster has been around the block as they claim, they would have read through a technical fuck-ton of arguments about this. Hence

Yeah. Sure "Jesus saves," but he clearly dropped the ball on Arrested Development, Freaks & Geeks, Firefly, Terriers, SportsNight, etc. Not to mention how he's fucking up Community (and probably Cougar Town).
Dude is dropping balls everywhere.

Any chance at reviews for The Loop? Every time I see Sarah Wright (Sarah Mason?) and Bret Harrison
in stuff, I get super nostalgic about that show. Not the best show, but
incredibly fun. Also, Eric Christian Olsen. And Philip Baker Hall!

Ha!
You'll understand my laughter when you go back to the beginning episodes when she  (and Zachary Knighton) are streets behind the rest of the cast, improv/comedy chops wise. If you track it from the beginning, she's actually made some remarkable strides in trying to catch up.
KETCHUP!

I would love for this to a be a subtle dig at the shenanigans that are happening on HIMYM between Kevin (Kumar? Kutner? Kal Penn/Kalpen Suresh Modi? I sense a KTrend) and Robin.

Really? No one at the AV Club is going to mention Community's Agent Vohlers? An amazing match for Abed, and I hope to hell they find a way for Eliza Coupe to get a few more appearances there, if only because that would mean more Community (assuming she's not involved in rest-of-season-3-post-hiatus episodes).

Boooooooooooooooo.

I assume by "significant" @avclub-e77c7b588569860fddcbe6e3d528295d:disqus means not only is the relationship significant, but the racial difference is noticeable and involves characters who are fairly significant in the show.
Which negates at least the first two pairings (and I don't watch Up all Night, and am too
