I take it you lost your eyesight at some point in 2009?

Payton's rare liver disease is almost certainly due to punishing the shit out of it with painkillers.

WWE Network has done about 12 hours on the Monday Night Wars, and it's pretty good, if not overly self-serving and somewhat redundant.

The only thing I liked was the preview for next week.

Yeah, I cannot understand people saying this is a top 10 episode at all. Probably because Charlie and Frank have next to nothing to do here, and my favorites usually have way more to do with those two.

When was the last time there were two women's matches on a PPV? I don't see it happening.

Reading the recap, this sounds like it should have been a pretty funny episode, but I think the only time I laughed is when Charlie said Tums are good to draw with. Charlie as Grieco felt like a retread of Charlie as Serpico, and the Frank stuff just didn't really work at all this week.

Jericho is in the match that long so there's a veteran hand calling the spots. You can't have a new guy do that.

It's been suggested that, for at least the last two years, the voting is legit. Or at least if as long as they aren't being trolled, they are okay with most of the outcomes.

He did effectively kill the bit. The crowd's not derailing any more matches by chanting for dudes who just got to talk to The Rock. Those brats got turned heel.

I enjoyed most of this Raw. It was a watchable three hours, which you can't always say. (Well, I did some DVR cheating. Cutting out 15-30 minutes of commercials helps.) The comedy segments made me laugh. Social Outcasts (aka 4MB) should just work. Their pre-RR promo was great, with Axel, without hesitation, calling

I think it was less about wheel-spinning, and more that they know they can't do 5 months of Charlotte v Sasha. Someone else had to keep her busy so they could have it go for Mania.

Not to mention they used the stretcher angle at WM XXX and last year's Rumble.

Fun matches (mostly), but wrestlers seem to agree it's a super painful match, and it's logistically tough to pull off at a lot of arenas.

Probably a lot like Beast in the East. Some fun matches, but no story implications,

Ambrose is at his best in gimmick/garbage matches. He had the best lumberjack match ever with Rollins. His character suits that stuff better too. The lunatic thing is just a bad fit against high work-rate technical wrestlers, but it's great any time the rules change.

This is kayfabe 2.0. The Authority knows that babyface vs. authority figure storylines have been best for business in the past. They are in charge of putting on a show that gets ratings and makes money. They think that by antagonizing the top face, they will do this. It's the only way you can argue against points such

Rollins can't even walk at anything approaching a healthy gait yet. Cena would be 100% without the use of one arm and would risk permanent damage. Neither is in position to make a surprise appearance and take a bump.

If Bryan comes back it's to put over Styles or Nakamura.

I mostly agree, but she has still been headlining the division for quite a while and was champ for around a year.
