As a man who's Catholic-ish, Chicago based, and has Hispanic friends, I don't relate to this show about women who are Jewish-ish, NYC-based hipsters, and have black friends.

Both of them talking to the police really is incredulous. These are educated people with money who would absolutely have an attorney present if they were feeling the need to lie to an investigator. Unless that itself if part of the novel.

Come on, if you've been watching you know the on-screen memories reflect the narrator's emotional states. Noah is feeling really good, so of course he's banging hotties. Conversely, in the early part of the show, Alison looks relatively dumpy when it's her sad story, and she's hot when it's Noah's. You have to know

It's her daughter who says it. Daughters are never into guys like their dads.

Eliza Coupe is a superstar. I'm hoping the writing serves her well.

Wow, that's Cherita Chen? That's awesome.

I wish I could have seen the opening without all the jokes given away in the promos. Fell flat for me knowing exactly what was coming.

Heh heh, Poots.

I think the problem with my comment last week about the show being overrated is that I wanted to see more of a Police Squad/Lookwell element, and that's just not this show.

If you haven't, read And Here's The Kicker by Mike Sacks. It's a better read than most comedian books anyway. It's a series of interviews with 20-ish comedians and comedy writers.

I think this show is overrated. Considering how much I really admire the talents of basically everyone in the cast and writing staff, it's not adding up to a top tier show for me. It's a easily full tier below the primes of Community, Happy Endings, The Office, and P&R. What struck me in tonight's episode in

Raw after WMXXIX was what got me back into wrestling. It did coincide with me getting cable for the first time so I could watch Blackhawks playoff hockey, but I got sucked in to WWE after seeing how fun this crowd was. When Ziggler cashed in (I did not know Ziggler or Del Rio) I thought WWE must have some guys who

Adam Rose really makes you yearn for Santino, doesn't he? I think Rose is still undefeated too, I don't think they can even use that for heel heat. Whomever puts the bunny through the announce table is getting cheered.

One thing that I think gets routinely overlooked, considering the necessary falsehood of pro wrestling programs, is that the top champion is truly the guy who is the best at pro wrestling, for all that entails. It's a reality show. Whomever Vince thinks can make the most money for WWE will be the champ. When Daniel

I hope everyone who came in here to mock the wrestling fans remembers how it feels when people shit on D&D, board games, Star Trek/Wars, video games, fantasy novels, YA fiction, genre whatever.

On top of that, WWE missed a huge opportunity by not sending out a heel at 30th in the Rumble. At least put mega heat on Bad News Barrett or something. Did they honestly think the crowd would be happy to see Rey then? Totally baffling.

Agreed. Betty stops being comic relief when she has a storyline every week.

I need more episodes to figure out what Hendricks is thinking on the study. Maybe he feels the same as the doctors at the end of S1 who thought it was too much? Maybe he wants the focus on acquiring new patients? Maybe there is a racial component here? Too soon to say about this.

Sure, but she's gone from coming off as a product of her time to being a cartoonish villainous racist. At the same time, Masters is being set up to look more progressive. It seems like a heavy-handed and lead-footed way to shift the audience's sympathies in regards to that marriage.

This show and Mad Men make me wonder if people didn't start having friends until the '70s. Other than Betty, no one has friends on Mad Men, and Bill, Virginia, and Libby desperately need friends here.
