Happy birthday to you too! And congrats on being so young and hot despite your advanced age. (I can call you old because I'm 37 and decrepit.)

Waking up early sucks so bad. I've gotten into a routine over the last five months where I'm getting up two and a half hours earlier than I used to, now that I'm going to the gym before work. Normally I wake up with my alarm at 6, but now that it's still dark at 6 I get all confused if I happen to wake up in the

Happy birthday!

On any given day, that might be my favorite Fantomas song.

Work - "Long Cold Race (Abbey Road Mix)" (It's like my iPod knew I'm still on a Mark Lanegan high after seeing him in Philly on Saturday!)

There is NO POSSIBLE WAY something called "cheesy bacon love" could suck. Well, as long as it's been aptly named; I mean, if it's lying about the cheesy bacon love, then yes, it could very well suck.

Fungus and mold are nature's candy.

I had, like, a Thanksgiving dinner's worth of sides last night and I'm feeling really proud of myself for making such a functional dinner. We had the most adorable wee Ossabaw pork chops with a chipotle cherry glaze, and then garlicky kale, whipped sweet potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and a potato/leek baked thing.

I had an appointment and came an hour and a half late, and it loaded fine. So the moral of the story is that if we all just start everything up at 1:30 instead of noon, it'll load fine! ::thinks about the logistics of that:: Yeah, that sounds like it'll work.

Oh my gosh, you're such a pretty bride (and, presumably, normal non-bride person, too…)! That dress is fabulous, as is your husband! Congratulations on the wedding and on being so foxy!

The end of summer for me always means the end of walking into my kitchen, taking a whiff, and realizing I have to dig through the mountain of tomatoes all over every surface to find the one that's putrefying. Yes, it's sad to not have fresh tomatoes to eat, but I definitely don't miss that.

"What knockers!"
"Why, thank you."

That is AWESOME that you're doing so well that your doctor made that mistake.  Congratulations!  And that is also awesome that you're going to get into the WW thing when the getting is good.  That does seem like the time of year when a person will be most motivated for it.  And if it's any help to know, you've got TI

1) That's so weird that your IT people have such a hard time spelling your name.  I mean, first name "C-A-T", last name "G-U-N" shouldn't be that hard.  (As for the script, I used to work in an incoming-call center, and we were required to ask "Is there something else I can help you with" on every call.  If we didn't

Whoa — water Zumba sounds like so much fun!  And it sounds like you've got plenty of exercise options covered, which seems like it should more than make up for chucking WW; exercise, rather than diet, has been what's led to about 95% of my weight loss success, if that helps at all.  (I haven't changed what I eat, I've

Congrats to you!  It's such a great feeling, isn't it?  This was the first time in my life I wasn't dreading my physical!

Trying to get generally healthy, rather than having a laser focus on just weight gain, seems like a very sound approach.

Hey, five pounds is definitely something to be proud of!  As is ten!  Congratulations!

We are the Eeyore-iest fans who ever did Eeyore, that's for sure.  :)

Indeed, there is nothing like Rangers/Devils.  It makes me want to throw up just thinking of it!  (For guaranteed insanity, though, Devils/Flyers is always a pretty good bet.  There might not be lots of scrapping, but the crazy will be brought when those two play each other.)
