@avclub-4caf6aa0375b2499ebfe7e971b36eee3:disqus Oh god, the sore boobs are the WORST.  This is relatively new symptom for me — for a long time my period was generally just a normal case of "everything from the waist down is kaput", but now it's decided to add a new twist of moving above the waist while it's at it.

Holy crap — you get grains too?  Your CSA is amazing!

Happy early birthday!  My preliminary report from 37 is that it's a pretty good age — I'm sure you'll like it.

In that picture it looks a little bit Clark Kent and a little bit bouffant.  Both good things!

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus Whoa whoa whoa — you lived in Philly and never had New Jersey peaches??  They're the best peaches!  They make Georgia's peaches look like a pile of puke!

@avclub-2a50e3b61d7da907adce74114394ccc3:disqus Yeah, that's pretty much it.

Nice — Mark Lanegan and the Crank soundtrack?  Solid choices by your shuffle, there.

Considering all the "greens with vinegar" we've been eating this week (kale, collards), I like the idea of doing something different with the dandelions.  Chips will be a fun experiment!

That sounds completely delish.  I always use pecans in my pestos, but macadamias would be utterly luxurious.  And seriously, as I get more and more years of CSA membership under my belt, I'm realizing that "put everything together in the food processor and make it into pesto" is often the best solution to "what am I

@avclub-68b739692fa849e6572ee31610a75750:disqus Yeah, the fuzz isn't awesome.  I always peel and dice up peaches, and then eat them with a fork because I'm all ladylike and shit.

Congratulations on earning your booze!

It's not a mojito, but it is citrussy, minty, and boozy: minted vodka lemonade.  You will never regret making it.

Okay, there better be carrots at the farmers market this weekend, because I'm making that dip.

@avclub-72a8ab4748d4707fda159db0088d85de:disqus I just saw that one when I was looking for the burnt orange recipe and it stopped me in my tracks.  I was like, "Maybe it's time to bust out the ol' ice cream bucket…"

A few weeks ago I discovered I was writing the date as 1976 on everything.  Greetings from the past, everyone!

You and I must shop at the same place!

It's Christmas in June!

While it's sad that apples are bad this time of year, at least peach season is coming soon!  Does that help at all?

Oh, all you foragers/creative people here, I picked up a bunch of dandelions with my CSA share last week and was hoping y'all would have tips for cooking them.  When I've tried them in the past there were lackluster results, but I think that was user error.  Can anyone help?
